Other Info

Disabled Access:
Only limited disabled access is available as the practice is not suitable for wheelchairs, unless folding. The only toilet is upstairs.

Children:
Children are welcome as patients. If under 16 years of age, a chaperone must be in attendance or parental permission given.

Unfortunately we cannot offer any crêche facilities. Children accompanying patients must be under the full supervision of another adult. It is requested that children do not come into the room during treatment as this is not conducive to full relaxation of the patient.

Confidentiality:
We maintain the highest levels of confidentiality for all our patients, and no information can be given out without permission.

Children over 16 years of age are entitled to medical confidentiality and parents requesting information about their child must obtain the child's consent, preferably in writing.

Medical Certificates:
Our 'off work' certificates are accepted by DHS.

Reports:
Reports are charged according to the detail and length.

Complaints Procedure:
In the unlikely event of your having a complaint about your treatment at the practice, you should, in the first instance, discuss your problem with either Mrs Papoutsis or her Practice Manager, Jenny Matthews. If this does not remedy the situation, you are able to bring your complaint to the attention of either the General Osteopathic Council or the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council.

Dress Code:
See individual therapies.

Smoking:
The practice is a no-smoking environment.

Animals:
No animals are allowed in the practice as some patients are allergic. An exception is made in the case of guide dogs.
